Data Analysis & Research
Detailed ‘As Is’ Study Methodology - A 4-Step Process
We gain a clear and comprehensive understanding of a company’s hotel and meeting room spend through a rigorous data gathering exercise which is comprehensively researched covering all key stakeholder interests and aligned with corporately held benchmarked data. This provides the measurement to evaluate current practices against industry best practice, focusing on direct savings opportunities as well as product and service quality efficiencies that can be gained.
- Acquisition - A combination of qualitative and quantitative data is acquired, assimilated and assessed utilising interviews, documentation, matrices, diagnostic tools, brainstorming and creative thinking.
- Analysis – we conduct a diagnostic review of the entire accommodation and meetings room requirement, which includes detailed analysis of current supplier deals vs. our extensive benchmark data and other corporate deals currently in place, and geographic site requirements (including customer office locations and frequently visited destinations) relative to current deals in place and volumes placed in order to effectively forecast total demand.
- Assessment – we assess current policy, processes, spend analysis metrics, current supplier performance, communications, compliance to preferred agencies, properties and venues, hotel and meeting room contracting and management processes and responsibilities, multi-site considerations and future planning. We also assess technology requirements (including Self-Booking-Tool options) and conduct an in-house resource assessment.
- Synthesis – we determine the customer’s business vision and develop the project road map incouding recommendations related to preferred processes, suppliers, technology platform & adoption, communication strategies, security and corporate responsibility strategies, compliance monitoring, targeted cost savings and return on investment expectations.
