Business Continuity Planning

BSI’s documented Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan encompass various contingencies to ensure a continued service in the event of a disaster scenario including the necessity to relocate service provision from the usual service centres.

In summary the documented DR Plan permits:

• The ability to switch in-bound calls to alternative offices staffed by fully-trained BSI personnel with access to client profiles and business rules to provide an immediate response following a disaster scenario;
• The ability to relocate service provision in the short-term, complete with telephony and systems infrastructure already in place, through reciprocal business continuity plans with local businesses and accommodation providers;
• The ability to relocate service provision in the longer-term, within a BSI culture and environment, through allocated floor space in alternate BSI group company offices;
• Full system recovery delivered through replicated off-site servers.
